Salam alaykum, brothers and sisters. I am Sulaiman Adeyemi Odetayo. My aim is to walk the talk, which I have been encouraging you all to do too. Active participation was the Prophet's way not just in religion but Politics as well. He was the head of state, for the nation of Islam.

Prophet Sulaiman was also another man of God who combined spiritual life with political leadership like his father prophet Daud.

These are amongst the few I hope to emulate.

I need your spiritual, financial, moral and other kinds of support, hoping never to detail from the path, by Allah's leave.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF HONOURABLE (SHEIKH) SULAYMAN ODETAYO

We give all our obeisance, thanks, honour, praise-worship, and all that is worthy of practice and emulation to Almighty Allah alone.

We invoke and beseech His unalloyed benedictions upon the noblest of creations, Prophet Muhammad(SAW) and all his lieutenants and vice-regents in all spheres, at all times, and in every dimension beyond matter, time and space.

I am Sulayman Adeyemi Adisa, son of High Chief Ibrahim "Towo-towo" Odetayo Ayinde (The Owapetu of Ila-Orangun), son of Abogunrin Amooyagi.....of Eyindi area of Ila-Orangun!

I was born and bred in Lagos where I had both my primary and secondary education at St. Agnes Primary School, Maryland and Maryland Comprehensive Secondary Schools respectively, between 1984-1989 and 1990-1995.

 
I also had my Arabic education first at the Mahd of Late Shaykh Abdu-Rahman Olohunkemi (al-Ibadaniy) at Adebimpe st., Kosofe, Mile 12 Lagos, and The Abdu-Rahman bin Aof Arabic and Islamic Institute of Late Alhaji AbduRahman Amao Idrees, in Isheri-Oke, Lagos, under the tutelage of Shaykh al-Imam Isa Muhammad-l-Awwal Elega (al-Labaky, al-Ilory), and a host of numerous others notable amongst whom was the school's principal, Late Shaykh Abdul-Qadir Akehusekisa (al-Edewiy) at whose hands I became a full-fledged and trained Tijani Muqaddam with "Ijazah Mutlaq"(Absolute Certification) in the divine esoteric and exoteric sciences, after having studied at, and graduated through the ranks, of Arabic and Islamic Knowledge (Tahdeeri, Ibtidahi, I'daadi, Thanawi etc). I graduated from the school 30 September 1993. I spent the next 5-7years (1993-1999) studying and practicing Tijani-Tasawwuf, which did not stop though my Shaykh passed on to the Divine Presence of Allah on 28 March 1998, shortly before I gained admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University.

I was the humble servant leader of the OAU Zawiyah of TIMSAN for about 7sessions (2000-2008), having first served as the Naib in my first year 1998/1999 session during which time, Allah enabled the Zawiyah to grow in leaps and bounds and overcome all barriers hitherto erected in the path of progress of our pristine predecessors and pragmatics progenitors.

I was also instrumental in establishing TIMSAN nationwide and in 2010, it became registered by the Federal Government through the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Abuja. And in 2011, we extended it nationwide and included the IOTB, as the Alumni body which led to the first annual camp in Abuja in December of that year. The crest is now history.
